Here's a model railroad web page that highlight rolling stock that has been weathered. Some of the stock is quite impressive.

Hey ah8tk One thing you might try with the window to prevent the CA from damaging the plastic is ,dip the glass in Future floor wax. It will provide protection and prevent the CA from damaging the glass. Here are some links to web pages that discusses Future and modeling. http://ilovewood001.tripod....

Re: Glycerin/soap Soaked Rubber Bands? Not so sure.
For rubber powered free flight in the early day’s 30-60s glycerin and soap was used. These days the thing that we use on our planes is Sun of a Gun!. Just spray some in a zip lock bag then dump your rubber bands into the bag, close it then mix the bands with the lube. It allows you to add more winds...

Scouting questions
Two months ago I was asked to be a Committee Chairman over the local Troop, Team and Crew. Of course this creates questions. I have been to training courses in the District and I am fortunate to have the District Chairman living in my neighborhood. I have been looking at web pages on the web and cam...

Re: Prop wire?
I do rubber-powered free flight as one of my hobbies. The prop hook that is supplied with the kit, in my opinion should be folded over. The reason the hook would be bent to 90 degrees is that while flying a free flight airplane you want the hook at a 90-degree angle so the prop would free wheel. If ...
