I have used the Jigaloo spray with so-so results. Like Nitro Dan said, it is bad for wheels, but I sprayed it only on the axles. About 4-5 coats, letting it completely dry between coats.

Randy, One thing I did notice was the "spell check" feature was missing at the bottom when you use the "post a reply".It used to be down by the other boxes-preview, submit, save, cancel are. I use it a lot just to check myself. batstar70

beachnut, I've been using the thickness of an old ATM card, with a U-shaped notch cut into it for the axle. batstar70

Sounds like a good idea to me. Might also have some head start implications with the front wheels starting ever so closer to the finish line. At our Derby race we were lucky or fortunate to have an experienced starter. He centered and lined up all the cars, so everyone had an even as could be start....

Congrats on you and your sons PWD victory. Good luck at the Districts. Ours wasn't as good. My son finished 2nd in his division (wolf) and 4th overall fastest out of 42 boys in the pack. Thanks to everyone who posts here for their invaluable knowledge. It helped alot this being our first race. batst...

I like davem, use a shoe box w/foam inside to cushion the car and suspend the wheels.
