Re: Best Track Stop Section Foam Removal

Slowly peel the strips up, while using a heat gun to loosen up the adhesive.

Re: GPRM & RR: Hardware & Setup Questions

Are you using the Auto Heat Advance feature? If so, is the delay set long enough for RaceReplay to do its job before GPRM tries to advance to the next heat? It is important that GPRM is not doing anything (and you are not doing anything in GPRM) that might cause Windows to shift the focused app off ...

Re: Derby Repair Tool Kit

Our problems are usually before the particular race starts. We are set up the same as we are at our workshops. After 35 years with a height limit of 2 1/2", this year our height limit has been raised to 4 1/2". The 25/64" drill bit and 3/8" lead rod corrects a common problem fast. Glitter is our bi...

Derby Repair Tool Kit

I put together a tool kit for cars that run into a problem during a race. It has come in very handy for a variety of repairs. I keep this with me near the start gate so I can grab it for any car that is having trouble finishing. From Left to Right: + Axle Pliers + Mini Screwdriver Phillips and Flat ...

Re: Derby Magic Timer on Besttrack

I did contact them regarding drilling the holes for the finish line. They provided drawings of the lower portion of the timer showing the screw inserts relative to the holes for the LEDs, which was helpful. I wasn't going to push them for much more since they sell their own tracks. Anyone who sells...

Re: GPRM & RR: Hardware & Setup Questions

GPRM uses UDP communications to send messages to RaceReplay. You may be able to use a crossover cable, a switch or a router to connect the two computers together. If using one computer, it would need enough horsepower to manage timer communications, video output to a projection system, UDP communica...

Derby Magic Bluetooth Timers

I have heard that Derby Magic now has bluetooth capable timers . From their website, it isn't really clear if that is an included feature in all of their current timers or not. I don't see different offerings for timers with and without that feature, so I assume that it is included in all of them. I...

Re: Kits are missing wheels and axles (nails)

Be careful - Read your rules. Most races require Official BSA wheels. Also, please don't think the manufacturer will replace those. The likelihood of that happening is next to non. It is far more likely that those kits were returned or someone removed wheels and axles then they were sent out withou...

Re: Grand Prix Race Manager Manual Results Entry

What version of GPRM are you running? Please include full version#, e.g. 19.0.903.4.

If you have your computer setup for extended desktop, when you open up the Racing screen, the controls will be on one screen, on your primary monitor and the audience display will be on the secondary.

20 years of GrandPrix Race Manager

2020 is now here, a new year and decade, with great potential. This year also marks 20 years of GrandPrix Race Manager! That is rather mind blowing. It was created for our Awana club in San Diego, since I didn't like any of the software that was out there at the time and using a spreadsheet just was...
