That's for sure! But it wouldn't have looked like the Foose Hemisfear without the headlights.Kenny wrote: . . . maybe not aerodynamic, . . .

Re: Cub Scouts Pack and Girl Scouts Service Unit race results
Nice! My Wolf cub is using the green/purple Mirage on his car this year as well. Cool! That Mirage green/purple is really some awesome paint. I like the St. Therese image. Is it a printed picture glued to the car, or is it a home made slide-on decal? Nice touch with the cross of roses! Thanks, I’ll...

Re: Best Track question . . .
Thanks again Mr. P. and Mr. S! Wow, so that was your track at the council Mr. S! My son and I were overwhelmed by the experience!!! Just how long was that track? 100ft?? Seemed like it! I sure hope we make it to council again this year, and hope we get to race on the same track.

Cub Scouts Pack and Girl Scouts Service Unit race results
Hi Everyone, Just wanted to share the results of our recent races. My son finished first place overall at his Cub Scout pack race—and broke the track record! And my two daughters finished first and second place overall at their Girl Scout service unit race—oldest daughter broke the track record on h...

Re: Best Track question . . .
Thanks Stan. I was looking more for the “footprint” or horizontal linier length from end to end to see if it will fit in my basement. The first 108” (or so) are sloped—for the start section flat and part of the curve section, and therefore does not take up a linier 108”. I too looked on Best Track’s...

Best Track question . . .
I’m considering purchasing a 3-lane 35 foot Best Track and I’m wondering how much room I need for this. Does anybody know how long or what the footprint length is for one of these including the 40 inch stop section?
Thanks,
DD2

Re: Building a RR to run well on different types of tracks?
"a 1.5 inch drift towards FDW over 4-6 feet of travel." For a RR, you are going to want your drift to be away from your FDW instead of toward it. If the FDW is on the right, your drift is to the left so that your FDW is the one and only one making contact with the rail. Thanks hwsjr for c...

Re: Building a RR to run well on different types of tracks?
That's a mighty aggressive COM. Do you get a chance to test and tune on any of the tracks? Positive or negative cant on the front wheel? Randy We might be able to test on the pack track a little. The pack turns practice runs into a fundraiser by charging 25 cents a run. So, we might be able to get ...

Building a RR to run well on different types of tracks?
Hi everyone, I’m a long time reader of these forums but this is my first time posting, so first I’d like to say hello to everyone. This year my son and I are planning on building an extended wheel base three-wheel Rail Rider, and we are looking for advice on what to do with respect to canting, rail ...
