Re: Back to the 50's Blvd.

Okay Randy brought up a good point here by asking if the pilot could be Snoopy! Been's how i'm not finished with the car or have it painted.. so here's that (TWIST!) if you change your mind at this point in your build process. You could do Snoopy as the pilot and change up the paint scheme on the ca...

Re: Back to the 50's Blvd.

Thank's Randy! Well work on the car build go's on .. starting with the wooden axle supports! Back to the 50's Blvd.

Thought I'd title this topic back to the 50's blvd.. Because I'll be using a vintage 1956 pinewood derby kit to build a car with ( but with a twist.) http://i66.tinypic.com/2eefsc5.jpg :scratching: no 1950's car patterns in today's books! http://i68.tinypic.com/4vh8j7.jpg If we could go back to the ...

Coffin Nail Racing - Car Photos

Hi George! Thank's for the tips on the spray paint nozzles! When I asked the question. When I'm finished painting with a particular paint type or color.. Should I turn the rattle can or can's up side down to spray out the excess paint so that I won't waste paint by letting the paint dry out clogging...

Re: Coffin Nail Racing - Car Photos

P.S, I forgot ... if the paints are compatible I generally wait 8 to 12 hours depending if I'm in a hurry or not. The paint won't be "cured" as "cured" and "dry" are to different things. Waiting "7 days" or until the paint is gassed off is something I'd do if I was going to rub it out with a Polish...
