Re: How to build Speedsters favorite car!

Years ago, I build a Hershey bar car, but that was back when Hershey bars came wrapped in foil, with the paper label wrapped around that. Darin I remember those day as well with the foil and paper wrapper! It would of been nice if i could have used a vintage candy bar wrapper for the car. Maybe som...

How to build Speedsters favorite car!

The Hershey's chocolate bar car in 15 pic's or less! ( Speedster this Hershey's bar car is being built all in good fun just for you! ) First you'll need a kit and a king size Hershey's candy bar wrapper. ( And disregard the chocolate smudges seen on the wood !) http://i66.tinypic.com/2461krn.jpg For...

Re: Tips for winning the SLOWest Car?

Tape a solo cup to the car to catch all the air it can

Have small holes drilled in the bottom of the cup to let some air pass threw.

Maybe

Tips for winning the SLOWest Car?

Use the worst wheels you have as far as run out! Toe in all your wheels. Set the wheel gaps tight. Use the White Teflon powder for lube. Or try reverse rail ridding where you might get some wheels to scrub on the rail all the way down. Just a few ideas that I can think of at this time. Sent from my ...

Re: Fast times on a long wooden track

Did you run the pink car with the cut outs
In the front un covered in the race?

That could be one cause to slowing from drag
On the longer tracks!

Good looking cars by the way!
Like the looks of the glow in the dark wheels
first time I’ve seen them used.

Re: Hello brand new here.

Congratulations !
Good looking rainbow car.. her pot of gold at the end of it was in taking Best of Show.

As for the outlaw..
Some say 8 to 9 ounces for graphite lubes
On a 7 in car.
Oil lubes like Krytox 100 up to 14 ounces.

Air horns are made from dowel rods that i turn on the drill press using small files to shape them .. same for...
