I have heard that one way to combat the steer from changing during a rough stop section etc. is to drill the DFW axle hole approximating the steer.

Looking good VK! Yes. The bamboo skewers add a great deal of strength even when halved or quartered. The idea is to use the grain of the wood where. Cross grain does not add much structure. You can do the same thing near the nose an take off more weight if you want but 1/2OZ is competitive already. ...

Thanks for the input all. I think I will race the orange one at the pack meeting for the "wow" factor and the pine one at the districts (just because I want too 8) ) If given the chance I will try to see which is faster. May have some adult competition at the pack level this year-damned B...

That Pledge is great but like Whoda says it takes a while to dry :scratching: The only trouble with Future is it dries very slowly so you need to cover it or you can end up with a lot of dust in the clear. Andy I've never used this stuff so how would I know that it takes a while day to dry Joe! ;) ...

I think the best way to do it would be to spin cast the lead shapes,
