I'm not sure what you mean by that.
You know, I am going to chalk it up to user error. I am sorry about that. I compared the mobile version to Tapatalk and the menus match up. Again, I apologize for my error.

Re: Herbie

I do not see pictures either.

Tapatalk and Photobucket for me. I use Tapatalk 99% of the time when browsing forums. However, Derby Talk seems to be missing sections on Tapatalk. I usually use the "unread" tab to see updates and new posts.

Bill, that would be perfect. Can I add that it should also allow you to drill starter holes in axle slots? Our Council still requires you to use the axle slots.

Can the jig be used to drill starter holes for slots?

Tried sending a PM, but not sure it went through. Are the canopies 3.5 oz?

Thank you. I never thought to check Wal-Mart. It looks like my local one has paper up to 2500.

Re: Axle prep...

That axle looks great! Is the coning all done by hand with a file?

Also, where are you buying the fine grit paper from? Locally, 800 is the finest I can find.

Re: Opinions Wanted: Critique my Rail-riding explanation

Thank you, VK. It seems bent axles might be best for a beginner. A few years ago, when my son was a Tiger, we built a crude car that ran good. He won districts for the Tiger/Wolf class. However, he got spanked by a RR for overall champ. That was the only time I've seen a RR at districts. Unfortunate...

Re: Opinions Wanted: Critique my Rail-riding explanation

A little off topic, but is it better to bend axles or drill holes? I really want to try this, but would need to purchase tools to do so.

Is Novus 3 the same as wax? In the past, we've only burnished with graphite. Last year, we used wax and then graphite. Thinking about using Novus 2 and wax this year before burnishing with graphite.

Re: Derby Timer Review

Nice looking unit. Do you know the pricing for these? I had sent an email through their website a month ago and never got a response.
