Re: First BSA car race experience
We won our class in district, car is still undefeated. Averaged 3.0122 @ 208.25. They said there wasnt any races above district, is that true? Only complaint I had and about 85% of the others was the metal box they checked length with was inaccurate. They were saying almost all the cars were to long...

Changed axles cant get 4 wheels on ground
I made the mistake of messing with the car before district, now I cant get all 4 wheels to touch. I can slide a piece of paper under the wheel and it touches. Is that good enough or how strict is the 4 wheel must touch at district?
How to get all the wheels to touch without comprising the car?

Re: First BSA car race experience
Nope, just a dad who watched a few videos online.
I tried to square up the rear wheels, then angled one front wheel to make it pull over to the right one inch over 5ft. Its still on 4 wheels per BSA rules. The rear wheels rubs once the front moves over and touches. I'll try to get pics tonight.

First BSA car race experience
This was my first time building cars with my boys. Both went undefeated (youngest ran in open) and the one in scouts is going to district. This was on a 2 lane wood track with no timing system. He beat every car by several lengths except one which he beat by a length. We built these pretty quickly (...
