Re: Balancing Theme ve Speed
Another idea for reinforcing a thin or snake type car. most hobby shops have very thin strong sheets of plywood. now take your fresh block of wood and rip it just above where the axle holes would go then laminate a piece of that plywood in between the 2 pieces of block so it's in the middle like a s...

Re: looking for double elimination software
Thanks for your response. Yes I'm looking for track results and interface with electronic timer. I've tried to contact enterpisingideas 3 or 4 times and they have not gotten back to me. and from what I understand about their double elimination is that everyone but the winner gets a loss. I want soft...

looking for double elimination software
Hi,
I'm looking for help to find double elimination software that when only the last place car gets a loss not every car but the winner. I know this isn't use much anymore but I'd be willing to buy use new or talking to anyone that can make it.
Thanks,
Pinecar

Re: Railriding without bending axles
It's funny you mention it but yes you can and be very fast! I know that derby worx has the trade mark on rail riding and self proclaimed inventors of rail riding that claims it was revolutionary and started in 2001 but that's not true. I believe it's been revolutionary but we were doing it in early ...

Re: Recessed wheel bore on the new wheels ! why ! ill tell y
I think the wheels help even the field a little but its all relative. It helps the kid who puts the time in and has a good car from the kid that just bought good stuff and doesn't know how to use it. now get rid of the all 4 wheel touch rule and it will help more!

Re: How can it be?
could the winning car have been damaged in some way? because it should have not lost! Or how were the races started, a inconsistent starter. Or if the race timer is started by a beam in front of the pin one fast starting car that didn't win would make that a faster heat plus they would only race tog...

Re: Running wheels inside out
It would also help on the front dominate wheel by going into the rail with a soft radius and it reduces the braking diameter by about a 1/4". you need to also soften the BSA writing with out removing it for most rules

Re: ID of hub
Now you will need a reverse thread tap for the other side of the car so all the wheels run out to the hub.

Bubba wrote: Our rules say - the 4 wheels need to touch the track and the entire tread surface needs to touch the track. THANK GOODNESS!!! It's tough enough for your average (even experienced) Cub (and parent) to get them all touching and flat. How do people come to these RULES!!!! If a 6 ye...

Re: Fun Raiser
I think it is a great fund raiser. We have 4+ in are area they give the kit and rules. The larger race is 100+ cars at $75.00 per car plus food and silent auction. Not a bad fund raiser
