Re: Awesome site, thanks!

Greg

There is a lot of info from some really nice people here.

You are lucky that you found it your second year. I only found this forum a few weeks a go - just before my son's last PWD :(

Good Luck in all your and your son's future races.

Re: Campcrafter's Report

You might try adding some extra foam padding on the start gate to reduce the vibration caused by it snapping open. It wasn't so much the snapping open of the gate as the drag when pushing the lever open. I think maybe a little lube on the rubber end cap may help. I think the foam on the end is a go...

Re: Running an outlaw race.

I was thinking of having an open race at a time other than the official pack race. Say during the summer. I also thought of having a Saturday in the Fall before "the season begins" for boy and parent to come in the morning, build a car on-site and race it. I think this might be fun and wou...

Re: VERY DISAPPOINTED

Thanks for the hints Dave. I did not get past putting the start gate together(not becasue of difficulty but time - I didn't get started til 10 PM), which by the way has been changed as of 1-1-06 according to the paperwork. It guess that it does have the new braking system also according to the paper...

Re: VERY DISAPPOINTED

K I am sure it will be a fantastic product, but you know the frustration. And it doesn't take much to reply to an email - you don't even have to talk to the person. It doesn't take a great communicator - that's just good business and common etiquette. I just want to know if the product will be here ...
