District Race Results
My son took third place the district race Saturday. He was very happy about that and as always I am very proud of him.
A big thank you to everyone that is involved with this site. The information gleaned here is invaluable. We are already thinking about next year.

I personally think its better to spin the wheels on the axles on the car (with the load ad if it were rolling down the track) so that everything is constantly in the same position relative to each other. In that i mean the same part of the axle is touching the wheel while the wheel is being turned. ...

Graphite in a bag to me is asking for a big mess - It would only take a small hole in the bag to have a trail of graphite and when thathappens a little goes a v e r y l o n g w a y.

Our rules state "Use of the pre-made 'axle grooves' IS required." I do, however, drill my holes in the slots to make sure that the axles go in straight.

Thanks gameday, I was already planning to cone the hubs, but hadn't paid any attention to their relation to the the outer wheel. With all the little details - this is could turn into a full time job.
