Re: Jeep with trailer build

A scroll saw sure would’ve cut my time down vs my knife and sandpaper method. Funny you should say that davet! if you carved your jeep out with a knife you done a really good job of it! And nice use of the Max V wheels as well on the jeep! http://pinewoodworld.com/wp-content/themes/pinewoodworld_no...

Speedster.. that is a very fast time at 2.547 on a 35ft best track.

However I have seen a kid in our pack a few years back run a 2.5390 At 194.7 mph down our pack's 35 ft best track .

Hello brand new here.

Vk,
Have you ever tried using the Sally Hanson
Teflon tuff nail polish with brush applicator.
Instead of the super glue?

Here this works well for a slick surface around the axle slots or drilled holes while running oil lube’s.

Re: McDonald's French Fry Car

For the fries, I'd get either basswood or balsa or maybe even craft foam that is square and the right size for McD's fries. (I recall them being straight and square, not wavy, although it's been a while since I've had them.) I'd probably attach them to the back of the car directly, making sure I co...

Re: McDonald's French Fry Car

Stephen For the fries I cut out the basic shape on the scroll saw also cutting the wavy shapes You could straight strips and use a Dremel tool with a round sanding drum to shape your fries. However that’s if you like the looks of wavy fries. For the cover plate I shaped the edges with The Dremel too...

Re: Computer Cart

Looks really nice Randy! Have you thought about having a cover made for it for those rain'y days when your unloading it out of your SUV and into a building. Maybe even having some pockets made into the cover for the extra cables and power cords and so on. just an idea here: Could you use something l...

Re: Hello brand new here.

You will be setting your bend to point straight down (Positive camber). As you turn your nail forward, ever so slightly, you will steer your car to the left 2" in 4'. This is where you start on your level test board. This is with the RIGHT Front wheel as the Dominant Front wheel. Those with track a...

Re: Hello brand new here.

K I feel stupid asking this. I was assuming I'm going to bend the front passenger axel downward so the tire ride on its outside edge leaning towards the rail and then bend the axel AGAIN somehow??? towards the front so the car turns towards the rail as in rolls down the track. Maybe this image will...

McDonald's French Fry Car

Stephen You’ll want to take note of the concave shaped design on the front end of the car as well! Note: the car seen in the video and how it's front end sticks passed the starting gate pin! That little concave detail in design .. could keep you from racing the car as VK points out in the topic! Fou...
