Hay great pictures, Thats one way cool cubmobile.
I liked the pictures of the axle and brake.
Im hoping to have mine done this week sometime, ill add more pictures of it later.
How did the comtech wheels fair ? i got the 10 inch ones, was wondering.

Cub Mobile 75% done.
I added 4 more pictures, some assembly done on it now.
Added some decals, have more vinyl lettering and pin stripes to add. I should have done sometime this week. Maybe thursday or Friday.

I didn't get a chance to work on much over the weekend. The wheels did come in the mail on friday. I will get some decent pics of needed for my web site. I have add a few new pic's to the web site. Pictures of the Front and Rear (28 inches long ) (6 inches wide) These piece's are done being painted. I started working on the steering blocks. Glad to see a reply, Im hoping that this forum becomes more active as the season comes into play. I felt the rubber around the clamp or axle where mounted to the wood. Does help. U said u used 1 inch u clamp. I used something simulair, was for mounting electrical pipe, it came with the rubber on the...

I polished the axles on the my sons cubmobile, with mothers a buffed. I did the same on my sons pine wood derby car. However with the cubmobile. The outer bearing is resting on the axle bolt and not spinning, only the inner bearing is. My thoughts are the spin time and ease of spin with the wheels. ...
