Re: Building a PC

Here is one other stupid thought, unplug the router wait 10 seconds and plug it back in and see if that does anythi...

Re: Building a PC

While you are backing up things, make a backup of the new system as it sits now before transferring over files from your old computer. It is always nice to have a backup of a fresh install incase things go wrong when migrating over old systems. Also can we assume that the wireless connection is set ...

Re: Why light weight bodies? Yes Im ready for heavy physics..

...need some inertia to stop it Wouldn't we all love a little extra inertia... You can gain a little extra inertia by moving weight around on the car while keeping a good COM... all wheel/alex combos are not equal and by loading the highest amount of friction on the wheel with the lowest drag you c...

Re: Why light weight bodies? Yes Im ready for heavy physics..

I think there are too many 'if's going around to apply heavy physics to the problem... if you ignore the PE that is gained by locating the COM in the correct place and look solei at the way a focused mass effects the pitch, yaw, rotation or what ever other movement that occurs while going down the t...

1988 Comparison of Mold Numbers

Quick question, does anyone have a comparison of the old wheels? 1988 is the vintage I am concerned with.

Re: Do angle of weights matter?

Plus, I can also use it to build some of my own and have some fun! LOL, I knew it... give up just go buy all the tools now, the mini lathe, the pro body jig, bandsaw, professional 3D computer modeling software, laser guided CNC milling machine, frictionless chassis impregnating machine, radical ion...

Re: Do angle of weights matter?

With the diagram on the left you can see how the weight can be moved down farther towards to bottom of the car, which is good... in the diagram on the right your weight on a angle actually becomes taller and long which doesn't allow you to get the weight back as far or as low. In theory it make a di...

LOL... soon is a relative term right? Like compared to the pace at which I work I would say yes, Soon... the actual date would be some time near the end of September. ;)

Re: Ferrari 330 P4

Very nice. I also like your frictionless axles ;) Thanks. I've been working on this for a while... the rules only state you have to use the axles that come in the kit but it doesn't say what you have to use them for... so I'm using them just for weight in the trunk... then I paint the inside of the...

Re: Google SketchUp

All what profiles? I have not tried the weld program yet. As for the wheel, no problem using the spokes... but when I down loaded your wheel, all I got was the spokes and the nail head... you might want to check into that. And the blue print site is sweet, that is going to save me a ton of fiddling ...
