Re: Devising a test to catch instability
Tall task at hand here. I don't see a all the effort worth what the solution would tell you. I don't have the time or interest for this one. I think I'd find a way to make a track or get a used one. Run it outside if needed. When space is a issue. You are getting into slow motion capture of car at f...

Re: car
Thanks.
I dyed one light brown. But been busy to get back to it.
That's just a #44 drill bit that comes with the pro body jig.
I have HSN drill bits. But I forget where I put them.

Johns a great guy. I had one of these. I donated to the pack.
The kids really liked it and the families in the stands did too.

Re: Making Wheels Round
FWIW, once again. I found a #2 wheel as I was going through my boxes of wheels. The wheel cleared the .001 mark on the concentricity gage and stopped. Best raw wheel I've ever come across. I worked on it with the Pro-wheel shaver and my file for 45 minutes. The best I could do was to get the wheel ...

Re: URGENT: Rear Wheel Alignment Issue - Please Help!
In trying to resolve the issue. To eliminate. I'd try different wheels. Sounds like A plus process to me. I use that process too. I get it too .0005. Try straight axles. At least you can see if it's better or worse. The drift. and naturally I assume. you are turning them to try and tune the rears. s...

Re: URGENT: Rear Wheel Alignment Issue - Please Help!
I went to using the new derby work axle bender. And really like it. Other then what you are doing with the older design. That's what I use to do. Might have to not use the wax paper. U reamed your own bores ?. Hmmm. I don't think I'd try that. Maybe you will share how you did it sometime. Sporty

Re: URGENT: Rear Wheel Alignment Issue - Please Help!
You are going to have to try different axles with a slightly different bend to try and correct. The hard part with slots. Already using bent axles. Is in solving the issue. The car might not have the sake rear height on the rears. Tilt. Are the two rear wheels the same o.d. and same bore size ? Sporty
