see if you could find a big rig kit i found 2 #2s in each big rig kit they had a runout of .0007.
and in the kits i found some wheels to have low runnout also i checked them all and tossed anything over .003 then rechecked and found several to be .0012-.0007

old thread but heres what i think. I agree times are more accurate. but points are more interesting to watch. to do points correctly you would have to look to the pros and see how they do it. and the first thing they do is every car has a qualifying run. then they set it up off of that. but the prob...

i see alot of talk here and there about burnishing the bores with graphite. how do you guys actually do this do you use the longs pipe cleaners. ive searched and cant find anyone specificaly stating how to do it. i usually do my allignment without graphite and then dab it in from the tube and spinn ...

I actually expected to hear larger numbers than that. but then again i must take into concideration your cant on the rear if you run allot of cant then that would further lower the car to the track. i was thinking something like this. my car body is 7/16 i was thinking putting the axle holes about 3...

if you where to drill axle holes wherever you wanted. what hight would you drill at. i believe ive read here before that having the front of the car higher then the rear helps. so that said i have the front in stock location but was thinking of drilling the rears higher in the body there for lowerin...

while drilling holes for weight today with my son he states he doesnt whant to race this year. he still whants to build the car. i ask why he said he whants someone else to get to win. he did win the pack and district two years ago a. last year he won the pack but got some where 27th at the district...

sporty how did you know you had even weight on both rear wheels .
with scales or by placing the weight exactly center of the rears wheels?
