Darn. Not even in virginia. I was hoping to catch this when it opened. Hopefully enough interest will indeed be generated to get this movie out widespread.

Terryep,
This is just totally awesome stuff! Thanks very much. I would be interested in the code. I've got a few interns at work that will just jump into this!
Thanks!

Re: More ebay Fun
It is a sad reality that these ebay cars even exist, and sadder yet that people actually pass these off as their own. Unfortunately years later when they look back, what memories do they have. I have an old purple 70's style van that my father and I made when I was in Indian Guides (didn't do cubsco...

Re: Improving car between pack and district/council race?
I agree that the scout should be able to "tune up" his car prior to the districts if need be. My stepson took 2nd as a wolf and had one of the top three in our pack. However he asked me if he could speed it up for the districts. He knew where he stood, and also knew he'd be racing three of...

Re: More ebay Fun
Obviously the sellers have either A. Never been a scout, or B. Could care less about what we are attempting to teach our Youth in learning and abiding by the Scout law and oath. Such a wonderful program. Too bad there are those out there that never learned those ways of life. Let's just hope we're s...

Re: 2005 Pinewood Derby Results!
A cure for the end of the season blues, is running the stock division at WIRL. If time only allowed for all the fun hobbies we like! I'm down that the season is at an end, however my son is already plowing down ready for new activities until next year rolls around again. It's time for machine pitch...

Re: Viewing racemanagement software on tv
We did the same thing back in the beginning of February. We wanted more than just the norm, so we came up with this idea. Great to see others are thinking along the same lines! (GET THE KIDS EXCITED!) The video projector I brought in broke the morning of, so we ended up connecting to a big TV the ch...

Re: 2005 Pinewood Derby Results!
Absolutely. We'll do the same! BTW. Here's pics of my son's car. He's a wolf this year. Did alot of the sanding and stood with me during all the work. Throughout the process I reminded him, next year, the car is totally his. We'll see how he comes along. http://www.geocities.com/kcobbva/images/carfr...

Re: Link to plastic inexpensive test track????
For anyone interested in these, the seams don't seem to blend very well, espcially if you have a bend in the track to create a slope. This might work just fine for your child to play with, but for serious testing, I think I was pretty much let down.
