Race Schedules

Post by CCC_5526 »

Hello All,
I am trying to determine if it is possible to run a race such that each car runs in 2 heats on a 4 lane track. We use Fastrack timer with GPRM software.
I realize some may say this will lead to unfairness but we have found that the 4 lanes are so close that we are willing to forego that level of scrutiny.
We are more interested in reducing the overall racing time so to not lose the interest of the boys. We typically have 40-60 cars racing in each of 4 age groups. We have already gone to multiple tracks; one per age group which obviously has helped a lot. Our derby racing is part of a large day of events and so we end up being crunched for time. We have been using the Perfect N type scheduling in GPRM after importing rosters.
Thanks, Richard.
