Electroplated parts?

Post by Rasika »

One question :?: , do any of you take plastic and have it electroplated and equiped to the car, instead of normal metal, to make the car lighter, go faster or more attractive? Also are there any other parts that are electroplated? I've been told that only the axels were electroplated with nickel, yet I was wondering if any other part might be electroplated for the mere sake of appearance or weight.
Thanx
:)

I THINK ON PLASTICK IT IS CALLED VACUME METALIZEING. I WOULD LIKE TO PUT IT ON THE PINECAR WHEELS BUT IT WOULD BE TOO COMPLACATED AND IT CAN FLAKE OFF TOO EASALY.I WILL STICK TO MY
PILOT SILVER MARKER.IT IS AS CLOSE TO CROME AS YOU CAN GET. 8)
