At the time I made the loader I made it for fun and to do something different as far as creativity,
and wasen't looking to race it at the time.

Darin & derbyspeed
I race it down a different track.

That's totally awesome!

It's definitely worth being in the magazine, you did a great job and you can hardly tell it's even a derby car, kind of a double take.

Thanks Aron,

Have you and your boys been building any cars?

I'v been working on a vintage 1947/48? MonoGram mono jet co2 car,
there allmost like the BSA Blast car kits.
Thay run in the same way as the blastcars down a line with eyelets under the car.
The kids might enjoy seeing one these older co2 cars posted on here sometime.
I'm hopeing to share some photos of some these vintage Monogram co2 racers.. the kits/plans etc.
So they can see how the vintage MonoGram Co2 cars kits were built and sold back then.

Hopeing to share some photos with in a few weeks.
Mark.

Totally amazing design and execution! And the fact that the parts work and move blows my mind. This one goes in my amazing inspiration file.

What do you use to make your plans??

Thanks ciodude,

Not only do I like to build derby cars.
I enjoy building wooden models on a larger scale also a few of these cars and trucks I'v posted on DT.
Were larger scale model patterns that i down sized and turned into derby cars the loader is one of them.
The 1929 ford roadster & the 1929 ford woodie wagon..Were some i down sized in scale also.
Toys&Joys.

My inspiration was in trying to build them on a much smaller scale.

And then going to the web page found here.

To take a look at the job that was done building this loader..
I was more surprised to read on that someone else built one also
and then took best of show with there Bobcat Skid-steer design as well. ( What a job!) :bigups:
