I'm getting closer to getting it built hoping to get bucket built soon.
So far it has been a really fun project.. just doing this one for FUN!
I my self have never seen a "Skid-Steer" Loader made or posted on DT.
So I thought I'd do something different.
Mark.

Thanks Darin,
I'm hoping to get it finished up by the weekend.
I did get the bucket made & a lot of the parts painted up tonight.
I did run across some decals for it that I'm going to have to resize,
and print out on water slide decal paper.
But I will post a photo of it for you Darin.
This is where I'm at with it tonight.

Wow, Mark! You say I have good plans, that Bobcat plan is amazing. I could bring it outside, the parts look like they could fit on the real one. May be a snaky one to actually race.

Looking good so far, can’t wait to see it completed.

I have added some of these pictures to my Cool PWD pictures DVD (this is played at pinewood derby’s during the times when racing is not happening) along with a lot of your other builds.

Very nice!

I hope you will have some way to lock the bucket so it will not be dragging on the lane guides.

Wow!!! Thank you Andy & Noah!
You know you two guys are some of the best builders I've ever seen.
So I'm haveing a hard time just trying to keep up with you as far as
the car builds go.

Thank you Randy!
I have thought of that, The rules say no lose parts.
But if we were to look at the wheels & axels as if thay are lose parts..
with out them we could not have a race.
The bucket and lifting arms are fitting really snug and somewhat hard to lift.
But you are right I could pen the bucket in for raceing as is.
Somehow I dont think this one will be raceing.. As It was made just for show &
for fun.

Some of the things used: window screen to make cab screen.
Mr Grip screw patch plates to make the chrome air grill.
And a brass tubing for the stack.
Tooth picks & dowl rod were used to make the hydraulic cylinders
and the pens for them.

Enjoy guys.
Mark Robison.

Fantastic job. It looks like it was a fairly ambitious project. How many different parts make up the whole piece?
