Epoxy for filling slots/holes?

Post by Vitamin K »

Hiya chaps (and chappettes!),

So this is a two-parter.

First, what kind of epoxy do you guys use for "drill and fill"? Are we talking the liquid five minute stuff? Or the kind that is more like moldable putty/clay? Or something entirely different?

Secondly, if drilling holes for axles, and the holes don't turn out properly straight, can I fill with epoxy and re-drill, or is that setting myself up for a world of disappointment?

5 minute epoxy

Yes you can refill and redrill.

For mis-drilled holes in wood we glue a round toothpick in and then re-drill.
