So what is an Avatar? An avatar is a small graphic image that will show up under your username whenever you post a message. This is a great way to personalize your posts.

You can select an avatar from our new gallery of avatar images or you can upload one of your own. If you would like to add an avatar, go to the My Profile link and then go to the bottom of the page for the Avatar Control Panel.

Our new gallery categories include:

• Hot Rods
• Miscellaneous

The signature and some other profile fields become available after you've made 5 posts. Unfortuantely, some spammers and perverts were using those fields for inapropriate content, so this was implemented.
