Hey Guys,
Has anyone had any experince putting the aluminum Piantedosi starting gate and braking system on a wooden Piantedosi track? I was thinking of updating our Awana club's track. We use a RaceMaster timer with the manual wooden flip gate. I was hoping to get more consistent times with a new lever released gate.

Re: Piantedosi track
It shouldn't be any problem at all.
We did that for our previous pack's track. We did have to trim the edge of the track a bit, but you shouldn't have to do any modification as they have since redesigned the start gate, making that unnecessary.

Re: Piantedosi track
Randy,
Thaks for your reply. I hope we can make these improvements to our track this year. We have not had any major problems. I'm just trying to avoid future problems and improve the consistency and safety of the track.
