The previous software was the Super-Timer 2 race manager.
Super Timer had a built in dynamic scheduler similar to GPRM however it assured lane equity. Ie every car ran at least once in each lane as well as raced cars of similar speeds.
In looking through all the scheduling options in GPRM I have not found a dynamic schedule that also assures lane equity, is there such a schedule? If so what is it under?
We have tried the perfect-N, however we did not like that some cars would race back to back races. Is there an option to ensure most cars race once before a second car is racing again? Or is this not something that can be done in the Perfect-N system?
The one option that our pack enjoyed about the dynamic method is the break between lane runs. After each car ran once there was a pause while it recalculated the schedule. This allowed the cars to be reordered and arranged to be more easily found. In our first run with GPRM it seemed we were always scrambling to find the cars to race as so many raced back to back.

There is just the one dynamic scheduler in GPRM. Its goal is solely to maximize the number of racers to win a heat. As each phase is run, you do get the side effect of slower cars with slower cars and faster ones with faster. While the method cannot guarantee lane equity, it does its very best to achieve it. GPRM is very flexible, so there are many ways that you can choose to run your race. You are not roped into any one way of doing things. If the built-in dynamic scheduler will not work for your needs, you can devise your own means and build your schedule manually using the Manual Heats feature.
That is more a function of the selected scheduling method and the size of your race groups. Some of the Lane Rotation methods will run racers back to back by design. With Perfect-N schedules, larger race groups will minimize the need for racers to run in back to back heats.
