RaceReplay - Logitech Webcam Issues

Post by BSABaloo307 »

I know this thread is old, but Windows 10 1703 & Logitech C920 were just broken by MSFT. MSFT Eng broke the codec these HD WebCam needed.
I happened upon a FIX; DirectShow AV Spliter is broken, so I installed an open source third party one.

Alast, All is well. I installed https://github.com/nevcairiel/lavfilters using GrandPrix Race Manager Pro V18.0, RaceFX V7.0, and RaceReplay V5.0 with Logitech HD Pro Webcam c920 on Windows 10 Home 1910!!!

Keep them Racin!

Jamie,

Thanks for that information. I have had a couple of C920 users (though this issue probably affects other Logitech webcams) contact me recently about their webcam not working with RaceReplay. It works perfectly for me, using an older version of the webcam drivers (version 13.80.853.0) on my Windows 10 64bit system. One user was able to find that older driver version and install it, which fixed that problem for him.

Download the "Logitech - Image - 10/22/2012 12:00:00 AM - 13.80.853.0" file. The 2nd file listed there worked for my 64bit system. Extract the files from the CAB file to some folder. Then via Device Manager manually update the drivers for the C920. To do that, do a right mouse click over the camera and select Properties. Go to the Driver tab and click on the Update Driver button. Do the "Browse my computer..." option then point it at the folder where you extracted the files from the CAB file.
