Some of the car designs you see in photos shown in the message posts may not comply with your race's rules (i.e. razor wheels, wheel bearings, extended wheelbase, etc.). Some of these cars may run in racing leagues or otherwise "Outlaw" divisions of local races, not a regular kids race.
ALWAYS check your rules to see what is/isn't allowable, and when in doubt, check with your race coordinator.

Some of us compete in the "I'm just here to help set up the track and so let me use these cars I had fun making as testers to make sure we assembled the track correctly" races. The rules are alot more relaxed.
