2011 son car DeLorean DMC-12 (not time travel version)

For this years car Noah decided to build the DeLorean DMC-12. Noah is now a Boy Scout, so he has to race in the open class with his old pack. Noah decided he wanted to build the stock DeLorean, not the time travel version. He used a Hot Wheels DeLorean as his guide to draw his plan:



And I also drew a plan:



Then he started in on his build, the only tools in the shop that are off limits are the band saw and table saw. I am always present in the shop, but I am working on my own PWD car:

















For this years race team button we decided to go with a name that we came up with while working on a name for my niece’s race team:



The DMC-12 was also fast, it came in 4th place in a very competitive open class race.

ah8tk, very nice looking Delorean!

But I think useing the MR Fusion compost fuel is the better way to go at todays gas prices.
