Mario Cart Car

I thought I recalled seeing a couple of Mario Kart cars that were built on a flat slab, painted, then had a plastic Mario figurine glued on.

I have searched the forum, but only found the nicely detailed 3-D Mario Kart cars. They are a bit much for my son to make, so I was hoping to show him a picture of the flat slab with glued on figurine, however I cannot seem to locate.

I haven't had the challenge of building one of these, yet. Nice to know I won't have to re-invent the wheel. Thanks for finding them.
My wife started a new support group... Widows of the Pinewood Derby.

My youngest did just that ... flat slab with a Mario (cut in 1/2) glued on top.
