+1
That's a great design, and it looks like it could be extremely fast too!

Re: Sneaky Snake
Thanks.
The tongue was cut from a plastic lid off a jar of salsa . It was the color I needed & had the right profile (and the bottle was close to empty )
Fast enough for the folks I raced here.

This is the best I can do for a close-up.
Lots of material left for the next one I build.

Awesome !!! Really great overall !
Is that really cut into the wood ? I have made plastic pegs kind of like that before, but either screwed them into the side or epoxied from the bottom.

Re: Sneaky Snake
Your district allows cars like this or by "leaders of the pack" do you mean a non-scout division? Sweet car either way!kevinrevin wrote:My 'Leaders of the Pack' (Outlaw) car for this year. It won Pack & District.

- Quadad - Thanks and yes, it is glued into a slot in the wood of the car; balsa made that fairly easy.
- botomgun - This type of car is only for the Leaders, using needle axles & razor wheels. All the Cubs cars and our "Friends & Family" Division use unlightened, unaltered BSA wheels.
