I started building a week or two ago... mostly procrastinating from doing some furniture building that I need to do.

2nd image is of a car that's 3/16ths thick.

3/16ths thick is thin enough. Topspin.D,

The car that i posted was way to thin and had way to much flex to it.
It probley would have broke the first trip down the track anyhow.
But thats what happens when you whittle these cars down to nothing trying,
to pack as much weight into them as you can and go for broke.

Like FatSastion, I would like to know what you are useing for weight also.

Funny you should say that.. I just helped a friend build some lawn chairs and a table.
Befor I went to playing around with trying to build that thin car.

The thin car in the second picture is the one in the middle in the first picture. It's got two lead weights added on top to bring the car up to weight.

The thin body was only 3/8ths of an ounce. The lead was 4.2 ounces to get it close to weight.
