Derby Talk

Since many DTers did so well at the Mid-America Pinewood Derby, I thought I'd start a new topic so participants could post pictures of their children with their spoils of war.

Here's a link to my son, Jon, with his 3rd place kid's open class trophy and his car.

When I got home from work he was hopping up and down with excitement because of all of the other stuff that was included in the gift bags that were sent along with them.

Hat's off to Greg who did an amazing job pulling everything together and taking care of all of the proxy racers.

Got the cars and trophies today and lots of goodies.


A thank you goes out to Gregg and everyone who helped put on the race and to all the sponsors who donated and helped support the race.

Thank You DerbyWorx, Thank you Evolution, Derby Dominator and Napa and so on. Can't recall them all.

Nice job Sporty.

We should all post our items received, and implement a DT barter system for items we need vs. items we got, but don't need.

3rd place open scout bears, 12th place overall.
4th place open kids.
All graphite cars, we got smoked by some oil burners.

Fun time though!

Definitely gave me a push to learn more.
