Any details on the stands? Their simplicity focuses attention on the cars and boat as the real trophies.

Thanks. Grandpa makes them each year for his cars. Just a 3" round wood base and a dowel. Dowel fits in hole drilled in bottom of car. On one of them he drilled a small hole in the top of the dowel and glued a nail into the hole that had the head cut off. Small hole in bottom of car that the nail then slides into.

The stand for the boat is the same except it has a 2" diameter wood block on top of the dowel. That 2" block has a slot cut in it for the keel to slide to into.
