Any details on the stands? Their simplicity focuses attention on the cars and boat as the real trophies.

Thanks. Grandpa makes them each year for his cars. Just a 3" round wood base and a dowel. Dowel fits in hole drilled in bottom of car. On one of them he drilled a small hole in the top of the dowel and glued a nail into the hole that had the head cut off. The stand for the boat is the same except it has a 2" diameter wood block on top of the dowel. That 2" block has a slot cut in it for the keel to slide to into.
