Darth Vader Corvette
My son has decided to go for a speed car this year instead of something cool. I have found that over the last three years I really enjoy building these little gravity powered hot rods. With the itch to build something cool I started looking for inspiration for something to enter in the parent/leader division. I was looking through my son's Hot Wheels when I came across the Darth Vader Corvette (if you are not familiar with this car Google it). I decided to push my skills to the limits and see if I could turn a little block of wood into a piece of the Dark Side.

Looks cool. Hope you chopped out the center of the block or you are going to be over 5 oz.

Look's like you still have a lot more shaping to do to thin down the front end of the car.
Very nice job your doing with the shaping of this car so far.
Seth you really need to Google this Darth Vader Corvette.

Re: Darth Vader Corvette
Amazing Job Carving. The first side is easy, getting both sides to look the same is insanely difficult. Well done!
Re: Darth Vader Corvette
Fantastic job! Can't wait to see it in paint! I saw the full size version of this at SEMA a couple years ago, and was trying to convince my son this year to build it from the pics I took. Glad I didn't, you have set the bar way too high!

I see the next generation of DT posters and it makes me happy! Oh course you guys seems to be starting off with some impressive skills while mine were hard earned!
