I've used Stan's method of taking an extra PWD block and checking the joints. We had a new track this year, had one tiny little burr that came off with my fingernail.
Volunteering and working to help solve problems accomplishes much more than whining.

If anyone whines, I'll ask them "If you can do better, you are hereby volunteered."rpcarpe wrote:Volunteering and working to help solve problems accomplishes much more than whining.
I've heard some grumbling about my boys winning so much, but since I put in a large amount of time for the Pack, especially for the PWD, I think it is minimized. Maybe more is said behind my back, so I don't hear it. If so, it doesn't bother me. I've let it be known to those in the pack that I set up the track so it doesn't affect the outcome of the races. The boys can understand if another boy beats them, but not if the track beats them.
I also let it be known that suggestions on improving things are always welcome.

I don't have kids in PWD, but I do offer workshop hours to all.
How they do in the workshop is their responsibility.
Sounds like you're doing it right Shawn.
