What a great design! I especially like the fact that it actually lights up. Thanks for sharing!
Re: Merry Christmas Derby Talk.
Is santa ride got some wax on those wheel spokes ? The o.d. on the wheels look trued up too. You do the work ?
Great job with the white paint blend on the green. Good job ...
Santa's battery ran low. Not all the leds are on. J/k. Not easy as I recently found out...
Loops pretty darn good. Rudolph step aside. Santa's got a hopped up gravity fed ride...
wrapping those tiny packages. Or thay painted ? Great detail.
the red on Santa almost looks like red glitter.
A hook and you have a great new tree ornament..for years to come too.

Although 5oz might be rather hefty for most Christmas tree branches...sporty wrote:A hook and you have a great new tree ornament..for years to come too.

Re: Merry Christmas Derby Talk.
Thanks Guys.
Hope you all are haveing a Verry Merry Christmas as well.
Sporty,
The packages are little blocks of wood & T cubes that are wrapped with wrapping paper.
I used ca glue to glue the wrapping paper to the blocks and cubes what a miss I had on my hands.
I got the glue all over my fingers wrapping the smallest gift boxs I've ever done.
As for the festive & cheerful Christmas lights..
It's one of those.. holiday flashing necklaces with only 8 led lights that work on it.
For the snow effect on the tree..
All's I did was put white paint on a small trash bag smeared it with a paper towl,
then used an clean one to dip in the paint and sploch paint the tree if you will.
Started off with dark green paint then metalic Christmas green and white for the snow.
Hope you all are haveing a Verry Merry Christmas as well.

Great looking car! Is it flat on top? (basically a two dimensional tree?) You have more pics?
