Total weight is 25 oz. 9 in the truck 16 on the trailer. Had to use multiple scales to get the weight. My pinewood derby scales max out at 7 oz.

Thank You. That answers some questions I had.
CONGRATULATIONS on the win. You have a Beautiful truck. Might you send a picture of it. I think folks would like to hear what you do for a living and how your truck was built.
I'd also like to hear how you shipped it without Busting it.

Welcome to DT Mark!

What I most enjoyed seeing about your truck
was the the combine you were part of in designing for Case!
And the 5th wheel system you made for your truck !

Plus all of your hand painted details on the cab !
Congrats on taking best of show as well !

Thanks, I didn't expect to get best in show after seeing Whoda's trucks but was excited when I did. I didn't have as much detail in the cab but the combine was pretty detailed. I designed that a few years ago when we were designing the real one. I work for Case IH with the combine design group. When I heard about the big rig competition I just had to do it so I made the truck to go with it. And I didn't ship it. Omaha is only 5 hour drive for me so we drove.

Mark,
I hope to see you racing there again next year .. it was good talking to you about your Rig as well !

Could I talk you into sharing some photos of your fifth wheel hitch system ..
That you printed out on your 3D printer!
I really enjoyed seeing just how well it worked by letting your truck and trailer pivot threw the curve section of the track. Just like a real truck!

It was so fun watching are 18 wheelers that were hauling loads on lowboy trailers go down the track as well.

Hope you are hooked on building & racing the rigs now! ( You did very well on your first year out racing them!)
It"s lots of work putting the 18 wheeler's together.. but it also lots of fun to see them roll down the track!

Don't know when they did the judging. You did have some really good looking rigs.

I'm not sure how to post pictures here but I will try and get some pictures of the 5th wheel. I have done a little redesign of the ball on the gooseneck to make it a little stronger. The one on mine broke when I was fiddling with it after I got home. Glad it made it through the race.

I haven't had a chance to get the 5th wheel mount printed for you yet but hopefully this weekend. I will make you a new gooseneck with the upgrade as well. Do you want the goose next or just a plate with the ball that you can mount on the bottom of one of your trailers?
