Scout Shop sells 3/8" tungsten cylinders, 2 ounce in a Blue package that says Pinewood Derby on the front.
Hobby Lobby sells 3/8" tungsten cylinders, 2 ounce in a blue package that says Derby Car Supply on the front.
Scout shop diameter - .378 -- 3- 3/8" x 1/2" cylinders weigh 1.5035 ounces
Hobby Lobby diameter - .356 -- 3- 3/8" x 1/2" cylinders weigh 1.4985 ounces.
The Hobby Lobby cylinders will easily fit in a 3/8" hole. Hobby Lobby also has a 3 ounce package that sell for around $26.00. Hobby Lobby also has a 40% OFF one item coupon that tends to always be there. My 3 ounce package cost me a bit over $14.00.
