Derby Talk

Hey fellow Pineheads, I thought some of you might enjoy seeing a few clips of our Pack's Pinewood Derby and Cubmobile races from earlier this year.

I've so wanted to do a cubmobile race for our pack, but finding a place in our area to run one has been very difficult. Your video is simply outstanding! Man it really makes me WANT TO FIND A PLACE!!! Thanks for sharing the fun!

BUT, MAN WHAT AN AWSOME WEBSITE!!

I've never seen a Cub site with so much information!

The website is very nice and videos, a added plus.

The videos were made and done very well.

I have some videos of our cubmobile races, However I dont have a good enough web site that allows for me to add video.


I would like to at this time to add some addtional comments. Trying not to take away from a great video and website.

I myself, Don't nessesarily agree with the set up of the Cubmobile race.

Im not sure I would recommend Milk Baskets To support the ramp.


I did like showing the Cubmobile going into the car. It left me room to suggest a better barrier. I personally Recommend Bails of hay as a great barrier. On the sides and center of the track and even at the end of the track.

It appeared to be a 1st time event of having a Cubmobile race. So kodo's for having the event.

I feel the kids get much more fun out of the Cubmobile event, compared with some of the other events.

I almost feel bad about mentioning those things, Due to a great video. Special effects and all.

Thanks for the nice comments. My wife thinks it's theraputic for me to run the website since it keeps me from building PD cars all year!

Sporty, Thanks for the thoughts. While it was not the pack's first Cubmobile race it was mine since my twins were Tigers last year. I'll pass your ideas along.
