Children's Pinewood Derby Web Sites

Post by fmorelli »

Hi,
I've been searching all over the Internet -- all I can find are pinewood derby web sites geared toward adults or older children. I'd like to use our pinewood project as an opportunity for my 7 year old to do some research on the web. Can anyone recommend any web sites geared to younger kids for Pinewood Derby.

Thanks,

Filippo

I personally think this one is a great one for a kid. The tips are straight foward (not really complete), and there are MANY MANY Pictures that could generate allot of ideas.

Explaining things like aerodynamics, weight placement, and friction in highly technical terms to a seven year old isn't a great idea to start.
Fun for one, Fun for all.

Try Stan Popes site, you can find out how to contact him by looking at his profile. Stan has a great website and is always happy to help if you email him.
