World's smallest v-8 engine
What type of automobile can be spelled the same forwards & backwards?
Re: World's smallest v-8 engine
Very interesting. I can't figure out what it's for. I wonder if there is a practical use for a 1/4 scale V8 or if it's just for hobbyists. If it is for hobbyists then wow, is that an expensive hobby! I have a hard time justifying $17 for tungsten for one car. I can't imagine the wife saying "Sure, honey. You can buy one." to a mini V8.

BallBoy, Conley's Stinger 609,v-8 is no toy or novelty but is a serious motor..
There used as crate motors for builders of models / boats or other adult toys.
Or as engines with test stands for collectors..
To the 7-ft long dragster seen on the site video..and yes these small v-8 motors
really fire up and run.
In terms of out put, the normally aspirated Stinger produces about 4.5 hp,
While the supercharger version hits 9.5 hp at 10,000 rpm.
And yeah! thats one expensive hobby for a true hobbyists.
