Sorry if my asking was off topic: About the "joey jeep" and Beaver Buggy.
The Scouts in Canada.. Have a car kit thay call the Beaver buggy.
that has a thin plywood cut out of a Beaver that is used on the car.
Scouts in Australia call it the joey jeep.
No need for apologies Mark. It's always good to learn something new. "Beaver Buggy" and "Joey Jeep" sound like a lot of fun. I'll have to see if I can dig up some more information about them.
Best regards
Matthew

ah8tk, Andy & Noah, Sorry i'm off topic on your post about pinewood derby stands with matching trophies.
I just seen that M Webb, was from Australia.
And thought he might know of the kits the "Beaver Buggy" or the "Joey Jeep".
Anyhow, Andy & Noah, & Matthew,
I did a little digging around on the Scouts Canada web site.
And found these kits.
Hope it is ok to share with you guys what kids use for kits in Canada.

Re: Pinewood Display Stands with Matching Trophies
I want to thank ah8tk for the great looking trophies they made, this post and the idea of having the trophies apart of the car stand. Its such a different, cool idea and the boys loved them so we did our trophies similar last year and we are going forth with them again in 2013.
Last year we had 20 participation trophies with a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. This year we have 32 participation and 1st through 4th.
