Well last night we completed our Pinewood Derby race with our Royal Ranger group! We had a total of 103 cars race. Yes that isnt a typo and that was just our church alone. We had 4 tracks up and 3 on timers running GPRM and one with GPRM running dynamic racing with no timer with 25 cars for the MPact group! Each track was a 4 lane track and got to each in each lane twice for a total of 8 times. We completed all the races in abour an 1:15!
Overall it was a great and successful night! We had many many kids with smiles on their face!
Thank you derbytalk peeps for sharing all the info you do and how you make your PWD races successful as well!
KEEP ON RACING!
Great races again!

4 tracks for 103 racers is a bit of overkill, IMO.jf4ever2005 wrote:We had a total of 103 cars race. Yes that isnt a typo and that was just our church alone. We had 4 tracks
Dynamic scheduling without using a timer? That scheduling method is not recommended when using Points scoring, since the software manipulates match ups in order to maximize heat winners.jf4ever2005 wrote:and one with GPRM running dynamic racing with no timer
