Post your jigs and other time saving devices (some pics)

A member asked if I would post some of the jigs I have made to speed up the "station" work at the workshops. OK!
If you have something that would help speed up or make a job easier, please post it to help others as others have helped us along the way!
I will do some work to the car in block form before it is cut out. This gives me a standard size to work off of.
This simple jig is made to drill the axel holes. The back board has a mark that corrasponds to the drill bit. Hold the car in this 90 degree jig, line up the car slot to the mark and drill. This is a great station for a boy to do himself.
Hope this helps some one out!

This jig is made to hold the uncut block tightly. My radial arm saw has a router collar on the opposite side of the blade. Two stops are set on the base to move the jig side to side and I set up clamps/blocks on the saw slide to limit forward and backward positions. I recommend the flat pinecar weight with easy breakoff tabs for the parents to purchase for this app. This makes weigh in night much easier for all.
Some belt sanders won't clamp down very easy. I made boxes to enclose them and set up a stop on the back to keep the car from flying away as they do sometimes with the kids running them. It is also set up as a flat surface sander only. ( Be sure to cut vent holes for the sander )I have another one that clamps down to be able to use the roller end for rounded areas. (Wish I had a drum sander).
