Is that heat shrink tubing? If so, what is it used for?

Very nice! :bigups: Very complete, very neat, very mobile, and very organized! It looks like just what my unorganized and not very mobile collection of car-building tools could use!

What is the brand/model of that box? With Christmas coming up, the wife could use a good gift suggestion!

RMoose,

The box is a Plano # 1373-00. I got it at Lowe's. But I think Target
also sells it. The Dividers are very adjustable to allow for changing
needs.

Has helped many boys (and Dads) whose cars have needed a
"little help" at pre-race check-in.

FAST Racing,

Thanks for the info on the box, it looks like it would be really helpful to me with our construction workshops and for the last minute adjustments on raceday. I will definitely be looking for it or something similar on my next trip to Lowe's (which will probably not be far off now! :D )

That is, I believe, Hot glue sticks not heat shrink tubing.

Actually those are pipe cleaners cut in half. I use them to polish
the wheel bores & then burnish in graphite. 8)

Well................

Since I have only 1 cordless drill I don't leave it in the box.

When I take the Pitbox the cordless drill goes in the top
compartment next to the glue gun...

The small roll of 'Racer Tape' is under the magnifing glass.

F.A.S.T.:

Thanks for the "inspiration". I found a decent tackle box on clearance in the Sporting Goods section at Wally World last week, and here is the result:

A pair of scissors and a couple of replacement wheel kits (BSA #17007) are missing from the pics, otherwise I think it's pretty close to complete (excepting the cordless drill that I bring separately).
