I can't help you with any used stuff, but here's a graphite applicator set that is pretty inexpensive. I believe that I had to use the 16ga needles to keep the graphite from clogging up the needle.

For bulk graphite I've used this stuff. Maybe not the fastest stuff out there to use, but works just fine for those that don't provide their own special sauce.

There are some free car templates that you can download. We keep these in a binder for the kids to leaf through. If they find one they like, we make a copy of it so they can cut it out and then trace it onto the block.

Thanks for the links and info. I was hoping to maybe catch someone on their way out of the pinewood game as well. So it’s more clear, I am buying not asking for donations. :D

"to maybe catch someone".
You might be able to do this. Please allow me to share my experience. I am on Derbytalk 3 times a day everyday of the year. I look for this and it happened to me last September. For $50.00 I received over $250 in parts and supplies. The more parts and supplies I get the faster the workshops go. My point is, BE QUICK. The whole Nation is looking for this. Power tools such as bandsaw, drill press, belt sander can be purchased from Harbor Freight at a reasonable cost and you have a guarantee. Your scout shop probably sells a lot of tools you want and you don't need to pay shipping.

Hodges Hobby House sells graphite in 1 ounce bottles. They also have 3/8" by 5 3/4" lead rod for $1.75 each. Our Pack buys 100 rods at a time and supplies it Free of charge at our workshops. The scout does not handle the lead. It is installed in their car and the holes are sealed with Automotive body filler (Bondo).

I wish you the Very Best in your future workshops.

Might check your local Craigslist and FB Marketplace, too.

+1 I have seen some good tool bargains there. With CL you can set an alert to email you listings that meet your search criteria. I find that handy when searching for something specific.
