Derby Suppliers in Los Angeles

I just found out this weekend I will be in LA for the first week of July .

Are there any derby suppliers I shouldn't miss?

What is the difference between a Scout Shop, Council Shop and a Distributor?

Can't bring home a track, and can't spend the whole week looking at derby stuff,but I will make some time to check out the scout shops for sure.

First 5 days will be stuck at some dive (Hyatt Regency Century Plaza 2025 Avenue of the Stars,Los Angeles).

Then headed to Anaheim for 3 days. Definitely want to hit a scout shop or two.

Okay, everybody double check me in case I've forgotten.
Distributor - some other store (JCPenny) that's authorised to carry Scout gear. Usually a little less selection than a Scout Shop.
Scout shop - official source for all BSA gear. Probably a good source for PWD blocks, books and Derby Worx gear.
Council - same as Scout shop, possible larger, possibly better stocked.

You might be about to find the local Scout Store, but I don't know of any Pinewood Derby companies in the LA area.

I actually started looking at locations of people, and sites I visit, and realized the majority of posters and suppliers are on the other side of the country.
