Hats, T-shirts, etc....

Post by coburja »

I apologize if anyone has seen this question on another forum. I am a first year "scout Dad" for the Pinewood Derby but have been doing the Awana Grand Prix with my son for 3 years. We're having a blast with it and was curious if anyone was aware of cool schwag that any of the manufacturers or teams have for sale. I've not seen any. By the way, this is my first post and I'd like to say "howdy" to everyone and I'm looking forward to the great knowledge and camraderie that exist here on Derby Talk.

:welcome:

We had some nice Derby Talk polo shirts that we had made up awhile back. I don't have any left, but if there is enough interest, I can order a new batch.

There is also the possibility to do regular T-shirts or put the Derby Talk logo onto some hats, like this one that I carry on my software site.

Thanks for the reply. Personally, I'm not a fan of polo shirts but I dig Ts. If Derby Talk ever had some cool black (my favorite) or white t-shirts, I would definitely buy one. What about manufacturers? Nada?

I noticed that your query on another board seemed to offer nothing except a custom solution.

If it helps, Derby Monkey Garage offers a variety of derby-related shirts.

:welcome: coburja.

My wife had these T-shirts made up.
As a B-day gift for me just a few days ago.

She used this company to have them made.

The cost to have them done was around $21.00 a shirt.
What type of automobile can be spelled the same forwards & backwards?

You could try Racechex at http://www.racechex.com" target="_blank . They have all kinds of checkerd decorations, hats, and shirts. I bought caps for all my helpers at our senior PWD in March this year.
