Something Very Special... 2015 Mid America Pinewood Derby

Few cars sent in and semis.

Nothing special. Rushed it a lot to get something sent in.
1 semi. Be pretty slow. Had issues. But maybe the lights will still have it looking nice.

Hope they arrive in 1 piece.

Never ran down a track. No idea if the one decent build one. Will go okay or not.

Was fun. None the less to build. Not so much. When trying to do alignment or ect. On them. Guess big time of a lot of things.

So many recent difficulties. I'm just hoping they least look nice for people to view.

I skipped a lot of the finer prepping for speed on everything .

Wife is finshing up on her Big Rig! hope to be mailing out two rigs soon.

I will hopefully have the Big Rig "B" Division Rules up over the next day... Think Creativity... Finally a Race that Rewards Creativity.

One of my friends is trying to get a semi done. Not sure he will. But I'm hoping.

The Big Rig "B-Class" Rules are posted under the Big Rig Rules pages... very basic... should be a fun interesting class that allows creativity and fun. Best of luck - this year only award will be for 1st Place in the B-Class Division.

I just re-named it... I think in my hast I was not as descriptive ... and I just do not have the time to create a new page ... so... they can be found Below the Big Rig / Semi Division Rules... I do not expect very many cars in this category this year... I do have a feeling it will grow very larger -- since there are not currently BSA Big Rig Kits readily Available.

Well, I was thinking that I was not able to go to the race this year, but my wife is feeling better so I will be able to make it after all. The reservations are all made. I hope to see some of the other Derby Talk members at the race!

Whether or not I'll be able to get a big rig done for the B Division has yet to be seen. If I can, I will be more focused on doing a fun design over making it speedy.

I've been focused on a fun design for the B Division with a speedy Drag truck look to it
hope to have it finished and mailed out by monday.

Won't be at the race in person.. but look forward to seeing the race photos of the trucks as well.

It is Mid America Pinewood Derby Week... I can hardly believe it is here - LOTS to do !!!
